It’s stable and memory-efficient, but the UI is horrendous and I just can’t get used to the available themes. So this is my attempt to at least make mIRC look like irssi, which I’m used to. Here’s a screenshot.

I don’t really understand the whole “theme engine” thing with mIRC (why is it all so complicated?) but as far as I can tell this is an “MTS” theme. I’m using the Kte theme engine which seems like a lot of trouble to go to for this but it does work.

Download the theme: irssi_mirc_theme.zip

I’ve just been to have a haircut and it cost £13!
I am no longer in London every weekend, so I thought I’d unsubscribe. Turns out there’s no unsubscribe link in the email itself (which apparently isn’t illegal, on the grounds that it’s an informational email, not commercial) so you’ll have to use their website. The alerts.tfl.gov.uk site has a login, and presumably if you can remember or reset your password (I couldn’t do either) then you can log in and unsubscribe that way.

If you can’t log in, then you’re stuck with using their contact form to ask them to remove your email address from the list. It took them 20 days to reply to my request, but I am now unsubscribed.

34 Different Ways To Lace Shoes

34 Different Ways To Lace Shoes: I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised that there’s a website for this.

Another one of my heroes.

Another one of my heroes.

Photo

Le cochon danseur, from 1907.

Le cochon danseur, from 1907.

Joe &
